1). sonic games need to shift from hallway setpieces into open world parkour games like infamous or assassin's creed.
2). the only reason dark souls games and monster hunter games are good is that they take MMORPG mechanics and repackage them to suit offline console gamer taste.
3). female protagonists are a stylistic choice, and generally are associated with good games.
4). microtransactions are fine in games. Companies are usually generous towards microtransaction customers and when you buy them you usually end up with a game that's way better than if you didn't buy them.
5). yellow paint is better than the weird "I glow like I'm coated in linoleum" effect from the ps2/360 era.
6). anime games basically never good unless they are very gimmick driven like katamari damacy or jet set radio.
7). Hardest difficulty mode is always better than normal difficulty even in games where it feels like shit like skyrim.
8). racing game enemy AI and RTS enemy AI are perfectly acceptable for what they offer. It's okay for AI to cheat when cheating offers an opportunity to learn newer and better strategies to overcome it.
9). bad camera = bad game
