It's the same with writing lol
"AI will never be able to replace writers because art of writing requires genuine expression of human soul, creativity and emotional depth AI just can't provide"
That's cool but 99% of books are already Sanderson Slop™ following established tropes and story structure molds. Fantasy especially is now "come up with a slightly different concept of some aspect of a world (usually magic system) which can be summarized in a prompt and make a generic story around it by following Hero's journey structure or whatever existing plot you find"

The "modern" isekai is new but the concept of "person in another world" is over a century old at this point. The fundamental root of an isekai is a very straight-forward hero's journey but generally without the ending of the person/people returning home the the series can go on and on (just looping the middle third over and over).
