I don't really know how to think about Brian either. I was born in the mid 90s, and by that point, Brian had already lost his mind, got it back, then it sort of belonged to someone else, and he had this brief window of peace up until Smile, and then he started slipping into, I think, a natural decline.

Weird pivot, but I love Dennis Wilson. I wish he had gotten sober and could've been there for Brian in the long term. He was a total mess in his own right, but he loved Brian.
