Not to be a pedantic autistic retard, but experienced players do in fact have to think about where they put their fingers. Yes, it's elevated to another level of conception (notes, then phrasing) but you cannot do it mindlessly, it takes genuine sustained focus. Then again, I'm not a fucking child prodigy genius who's been playing since before I could ride a bicycle, maybe it's like that for those freaks, but still, it's not like walking at all. It's like some separate third thing between absolute pinpoint focus and mindless walking, closer to absolute focus.
I would say I agree with your general point though that language is much easier than that anon is making it out to be, though. The synthesis of analytical and natural abilities, and one's aptitude for them is the key to mastering any skill.
