I decided to check the arbites post on the forums and it says this
>Muscle forwards with reinforced Assault Shields and a choice of Dominator Maul or Arbites Shotpistol - Darktide’s first defense/range combo.
This implies that we are getting 2 assault shield weapons, and one is paired with the dominator power maul, the other is the shield + pistol
But the picture related is from the gameplay video and it that is the dominator maul for the arbites but the doesn't have a shield at all. You can check the Kill Team miniature for this.
And POV we watched the video from the shield in the gameplay is seemingly paired with a shock maul? The fuck is going on?
Is fatshark messing around with melee weapons so you can decide if you want to run with the shield equipped or if you just want to use the maul only?

Are we actually getting 3 melee weapons for arbites?
>shield + power maul
>power maul only
>shield + shock maul
>shock maul only (already exists)

The devblog about these weapons can't come soon enough, hopefully it's posted on the weekend. It'd clear up the confusion.
