So I played through the series and Veilguard surprised me.
>Combat
This was the hardest for me to really rate. They changed it up so much (and I include Inquisition in the following statement) that it is essentially a completely different genre in terms of gameplay. Veilguard was pretty combat wise but again it is Dragon Age. I'd assume you anons are like me when I say you rather the gameplay of a mainline game in an ip NOT shift entirely. (Fuck you Xenoblade for dropping turn-based). The crafting was ass as it is in all games but I genuinely liked the loot system where you find the same thing and it goes up by +1 or the quality rises. Although I don't think it is worthy of replacing any other game's loot system I thought it was neat.

Slay me but I actually was getting into the story (ignoring the companions save for Emmrich) until they pulled the jrpg friendship unexplained getting Rook out of the prison. Then it took another violent nose dive as a final fuck you for playing it.

I'll fucking fight any of you niggers over Minrathous being shit. That was so cool to see some Khmer looking aesthetic given to them. Not too big on the fuck off floating palace that did NOTHING the whole game but still I liked it and Nevarra was also very interesting. The rest of the locations were shit save for maybe that under water prison.

The game had moments I checked out upon, basically after the prologue and after saving Rook from Solas's cuck realm. Not a fan of changing the blight/dark spawn. Not a fan of some things being explained that shouldn't have. Most of the companions sucked. My biggest gripe is that you can't actually be evil and it is much more of a hug-a-thon. I got everyone killed at the end in spite and pulled myself and Solas into the cuck dimension but weirldy enough I found that ending quite cathartic and uplifted the 0/10 to a 3/10. Also fuck off with the men behind the curtains shit.
