Roasties are too far gone to reason with, I've already known that. But I'm surprised at how far gone the men are too. Not even a self-aware admission of 'yeah porn is not good but it is what it is', or something to that effect. They'll actually go on a warpath trying to defend it like it's actually good and helpful to them.

If you're wondering, just because something gets enough signatures to be debated in Parliament doesn't mean that MP's are actually forced to turn up or legislate based on the debate.
If you actually wanted to engage in some effective activism in the UK's system a formal complaint writing campaign to a Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Agency would be far more effective, but I imagine writing a letter is probably to much work for 99% of people who think their slacktivism will achieve anything here.
