I think it was a decent show. I don't live live in the U.S. And I don't like military parades in general, because it is obvious propaganda to make people enlist and die for money somebody else has/earns, like corporations and politicians, and oligarchs who owns all of it. At least they also briefly went through the history of the army itself.
Advertising the current and the future units with drones and all that stuff wasn't terribly bad either, I think, for potential buyers.
For technical (and other) reasons no army in the world in any parade can and will show off all of the features and technologies it has, because some of it is top secret. Even the most modern machinery doesn't have all of the parts it would have in combat on it during parades.
It was greater than some other parades because it taught the people some of the history of one of the branches of the U.S. military AND was a minor show off. Multiple goals were set and all of them are achieved, I think.
The truly embarrassing part was having sponsors, that was fucked up, I thought. Come on, now, these things are pretty much partially national importance / security things. Oh, well, maybe it is for the best, that people can directly learn, that war is business and always has been since time immemorial it was all about resources. Automatically dispels the hollow propaganda and bullshit.
Another minus, I thought, was that it was "Army 250" and so other branches weren't really present and showed off there at all. Air Force and esp. Navy tend to have very beautiful parade uniforms all across the world.
As for the marching. Well, this isn't 1799 anymore you dumb faggots, there is no need to march perfectly in formation to wage wars. Discipline and working together as one is still incredibly important in the military, don't get me wrong, but marching is just one minor thing. In 2025? No.
TL;DR: For a first try and an attempt to make something unique it wasn't that bad at all. 7-8/10
