There were two more Boom games in development that were cancelled due to Rise of Lyric.
One of them was "Dave's Revenge" where the lead villain was Dave and the Lightning Bolt Society. The final boss was shadow who is disgusted that Dave almost beat you. The actual resolution of the story is that, after Meh Burger was destroyed at the start of the game, Dr Eggman reveals his doctorate is actually in law and sues the insurance company to rebuild meh meh burger.
The other one wasn't named, but was about the alternate reality where Knuckles is a genius and you could play as alternate Knuckles, Dave and Charlie (the archeologist) kind of like sonic heroes. didn't get far into development but wasn't my team. I think they were going to have other combinations as well, like Amy, Sticks and and lady walrus
