The dumbest, most entitled faggots to ever roam the earth. They're the only segment of consumers that refuse to acknowledge inflation exists. They wind up paying for it in microtransactions, battle passes, ads and other such bullshit but refuse to acknowledge the relationship. Even when Nintendo is the one company to not engage in these practices and also happens to be the one company that sells every game at full-price and never lower prices; they still refuse to acknowledge it. They insist growth will pay for rising costs despite all data revealing console growth stagnated since lastgen and overall growth (including mobile) has stagnated since covid. This is made further obvious by all the layoffs, cancellations, and aggressive cost cutting measures we're witnessing.

I didn't work my way into a six figure software dev job so I could afford high-end gaming just to watch the entire fucking industry collapse because you whiny faggots piss and shit yourself whenever you're expected to pay what things actually cost.
>I don't think it's worth the price
THEN JUST DON'T FUCKING BUY IT LIKE EVERY OTHER CONSUMER DOES WHEN THEY DON'T WANT SOMETHING. This whole consumer rights campaign bitchfest just paradoxically reveals that you DO want the product, you're just mad that you're being asked to pay the real cost. The fact that games worth $80+ can't exist because sour grapes NEETS living off welfare throw a fucking fit just means investors will never fund a more ambitious project even if people like me would be interested in paying a higher price for a better game.

Morrowind and Oblivion's overworlds (incl dungeons) are literally worse than a random procgen planet in Starfield. Bethesda wasn't lying when they said they went "old school" with Starfield and the enduring criticism from Morrowfags and Oblivitards insisting those games are somehow better than Skyrim is probably a huge contributing reason as to why they attempted Starfield the way they did. I will continue to bang the drum that Bethesda's greatest weakness is giving too much credence to their "fan" critics who are fundamentally nostalgia-blinded autists who just cannot be trusted to evaluate these games objectively.

>hurrdurr Skyrim is the worst game in the series because
Just shut the fuck up. There are aspects to Morrowind/Oblivion that--mostly to do with faction and NPC interactions--that are arguably (I would argue) better handled in those games but in terms of overall design composition, Skyrim utterly blows Morrowind and Oblivion out of the water.

The complaints about every Skyrim dungeon being a copy-paste draugr lair particularly enrages me because you're 1) lying to impressionable normies who haven't played the previous two games and 2) just telling on yourself about your godawful taste. Clueless normies hear that and assume Morrowind/Oblivion dungeons must have been charming puzzles like OoT or something and that couldn't be further from the truth. They are filler compromised of modular rooms stapled together by one overworked dude. One of the reasons Skyrim sold a dovahkillion more copies than almost any other open world game including its predecessors is because its dungeons have honest-to-god level design and feel like meaningful content.
