So halving the population of survivors between 2016-2024 based on that date looks spot on. As of early 2025 the estimate is now <220,000 remain alive with 80% of them to die by 2035 and the last few will very likely be dead by 2040 and they will be the babies that were born during the war. Average age is now risen to 87 and 1600 of them are over the age of 100. There's a small possibility a literal handful will survive between 2040-2045 but they would just be holocaust baby offspring born during it and not direct victims in the traditional sense as people that remember it vividly.
