>be community college dropout
>complete apprenticeship program
>now making $75K in major USA metro area
>no debt
>$100K in retirement plans
>in the market for a house in the $350K range
>don't even struggle to save money, don't even look at grocery prices, don't even limit myself at restaurants and entertainment
>mfw there's people more educated than me and even make more than me that struggle to make ends meet
What am I doing right, or what is everyone else doing wrong? Is it really as simple as getting into a skilled career and not getting into debt? People do seem to travel a lot, which seems like a huge waste of money to me. Other than that, it feels like I'm living on a different planet than people who are constantly complaining about egg prices.
