i love watching young coders eviscerate the Fed's monopoly on currency issuance as the NYFed flops around impotently like a fish out of water

DLTs have 2 legit use cases (authentication ie NFTs) and smart contracts, they will both be FORMS of our currency, nothing more

ANY strong, NATIONAL currency HAS MANY FORMS, never just one (fiat paper, metal bars and coins, digital, check, money order, smart contracts, NFTs…)

if one wants real change and a strong national currency, there must be multiple forms of a currency, not just one 'savior' form

The US dollar is a UNIT, it is NOT issued, it is an agreed-upon metric.
It is the 'Federal Reserve Note' that IS BEING ISSUED into oblivion in exchange for bond debt. The irony is the Fed subverting their own legitimacy by THEIR OWN ISSUING of Federal Reserve Notes into worthless oblivion.
There will be US Dollars LONG AFTER THE FUCKING FED IS GONE.
