The problem is even in Mutant Nation series, Tom Waltz and others gave up on explaining some of the remaining questions in the story to bridge the gap between vol 1 and 2. Will Jason Aaron clear up this whole 'dead rat is Splinter' thing? Or just leave this mess to other?
