Space marine recolors aren't factions the same way no one in their right minds would call craftworld iyanden, the ogdobekh dynasty and the elysian drop troopers their own faction. Only latrinepigs have that brand of absolute idiocy. Most factions in game can be mixed gender too with the only exceptions being the orkz and most guard regiments
