I've been having fun with them but they're definitely at the bottom of the first four gens for me.
Story isn't great, it probably has the worst regional dex, the level design is weirdly small and compact, HMs obviously go overboard here and a lot of the extra features feel super undercooked (seriously, the Underground feels so weirdly far removed from the rest of the game)
I can see why 4 has the reputation of being one of the worse gens but at the end of the day it's still fun since it's Pokemon and the core of the game is fun regardless.

Easy game actually absolutely 0 issues.
