Did you guys felt for the bait? Got bamboozled by red herring cliffhanger and though Toriel gonna get stabbed?
Let me just tell you already which subplots are also fake red herring that Toby fools you into believing
>Carol is not only not evil, she's also not involved with the Knight. Nothing she actually said is suspicious or malicious. Toby tries to make you think she's a mastermind and the Knight
>Suselle is not actually wholesome UndynexAlphys 2.0. Toby make you think that, but based on Catti and Carol (who we know is good) her involvement with Susie is actually dangerous
>game starts with telling you choices dont matter but its obvious by freedom leitmotif every chapter, that choices will influence the ending and romantic options
There are also obvious misdirection shenanigans when it comes to the Prophecy, but theres too many variables to really predict what exactly is being subverted. Very likely that there are 3 heroes and another girl who isn't the hero.
