>The game never says that, and it doesn't necessarily imply that either.
>You see, unlike humans', monsters' bodies don't have enough...
>Physical matter to take those concentrations of "determination."
>Their bodies started to melt, and lost what physicality they had.
>Pretty soon, all of the test subjects had melted together into... Those.
Monsters melt when exposed to significant quantities of Determination. You don't have to beat them to death for that to happen, Determination itself disrupts their weak non-physical form. Alphys didn't overdose Undyne with human Determination, Undyne just overclocked her SOUL and was immediately doomed. Magic and dust cannot contain Determination beyond the minimum needed to maintain a SOUL, you need physical matter, flesh and blood. Or plant fiber.
>maybe the different rule is that monsters don't melt from determination. That doesn't necessarily mean that they blood
I'm going to stick to what we know, that Determination melts monsters but Deltarune monsters have Determination and can bleed, and draw the conclusion from those facts that Deltarune monsters can be flesh-and-blood, instead of making new unfounded assumptions.

Why are you taking the dipshit rabbit child at their word over Susie actually fucking bleeding from her hand?
The same kid also wonders if a human like Kris should be afraid of a monster like Susie, which is the exact opposite of how that should be if it were Undertale rules and monsters were made of dust
We already know Deltarune monsters have Determination, they need to have more substance to them or they would melt
