Ashur is new to the scene. He's a jumped up, upstart that needs to do flashy shit to make a name and get recognition. I can see this being one of his tries to shake things up. It's essentially just wrestling anyway where you're simply trying to please the crowd with novelty. Looking forward to them getting skewered and mutilated same as the men do.
