How does anyone disagree with Gunn? I'm sure if an actor had a really good suggestion that fits into the existing script without too much trouble, he'd work it in. But you can't gauge that unless you're working from a finished script in the first place.

Correct. I remember enjoying Crystal Skull as a kid, learned every Indy fan freaked out about it so I went back and watched the original trilogy. The fans just wanted a remake of Raiders but won't admit it because that's the only way anyone should think Crusade is better than Doom and Skull.
