I feel like a lot of Miyazaki's movies just drag on too long. I generally don't mind things that have a bit of a slower pace, but a lot of the most critically-acclaimed movies, including most of Miyazaki's works, tend to have a pace that's so slow I'm at risk of falling asleep while watching.

Right? Hulurama is so stiff and lifeless compared to even the CC era that I almost prefer it use rigs so paper wouldn't be wasted on episodes that are unimpressive comedically, emotionally, AND visually.
