>Hands have been solved for a long time,
No they haven't. People just work around AI fucking them up, by adding direct reference images or rotoscoped motion cap footage so the AI never has to generate hands at all, it only adds a filter on top of original manually drawn or photographed hands. AI didn't learn to do hands, AIs like Veo3 still fucks them up regularly.

>On paper it would be able to jump the boring shit like coding and speed up game development, as coding would be a perfect thing for it as its more logical.
In the real world biggest coding AI Builder.AI recently turned out to be a scam where CEO hired 700 poos to larp as robots to investors. Then when the jig was up he fled to Dubai with all the money.
AI is a marketing buzzword, what "AI" really is is ASE or "Advanced Search Engine." Its an advanced Ctrl+F whenever you search for your precious (You)s on the thread. Marketers realized that internet is full of photos that with similar lighting and composition so its easy to tell a search engine to generate something that looks almost real by feeding thousands of photographs of women and their boobs taken in similar studio lighting and similar angles.
Then DALL-E kept fucking them up anyway, so the coders manually forced the search engine to respect the common mathematic photography and art composition rules like Rule of Threes and Golden Ratio to make sure that chick with weird fingers stays at the center of the frame. Now years later when AI hasn't really improved, people have learned that its better to manually feed motion capture- and image footage to the AI program to avoid the persisting problems of fucked up fingers and other abstract shit. So in other words AI is being used less in AI footage while humans are putting more manual work into making "AI footage" look better.

Comics and animation require consistent design or the reader/watcher constantly gets distracted by the character changing appearance all the time. AI can't do consistency, you need human manual intervention like motion capture reference to do that.

Tech isn't getting better. AI still fucks up the hands like always. People have simply gotten better at working around AI limitations. Instead of using a pure prompt button they feed reference images or motion capture clips that AI can then enhance. This way you can avoid the AI hand problem but it also requires more human work.

A.I. is a medium like a camera, CGI, paint and pencils. Its quite literally still in the embryonic stage.
