Why and when do Bretonnian knights become Questing knights?
The fluff always seems to imply that it's very faithful, zealous knights who do the Chivalric equivalent of becoming a monk in order to possibly find the Grail.
But so much of the art for questing knights depicts them as these dirty, crazed hobos (which is awesome).
Could a shamed knight take the questing vow instead of being exiled? Like the knightly equivalent of the slayer's vow? That seems like a really cool way to characterize some of them, especially a hero or lord.
