When you have strong feelings about any topic, that requires you to form a binary opinion about a topic. This could be a situation where you either have to do something or not do something, believe something or not believe something, etc.
I’d like you to assign “yes” and “no” to a coin with two unique different faces. For example the face side would be yes and tails would be no. You can choose whatever side to assign yes or no that suits your fancy.
The next time that you have strong feelings about a topic that requires you to take action, regardless of the action, I want you flip your coin and then just do whatever the coin says.
You will probably end up in a much better place in life -if you follow this advice. Just make sure if whatever the action is, is to hurt someone else or yourself you keep flipping the coin to again until you don’t take that route. Other than that, you should be on to a much better enjoyable life! You should really let go of the control problems.
