in that case use Mint or Bazzite
Bazzite is especially retard proof since its immutable (meaning you cant fuck up the system) plus it has rollbacks
So my honest advice is go with Bazzite, it comes with everything already configured and set up, you get all your drivers, easy updates, Steam, Lutris, Heroic, dildo in ass, tenga on dick, etc etc etc
