I'd mostly care about the rig being the best it possibly can be while running XP so era accurate hardware wouldnt really be my goal. I was really disappointed how my craptop is old but not old enough to actually have XP versions of drivers so its not even worth repairing for that. I do miss the simplicity and efficency of XP and i wish it stood the test of time more. Maybe if i get crazy enough one day i'll look into 2nd hand parts and frankenstein something. Wonder if there's ways to make modern hardware things like certain monitor I/Os or whatnot work with XP.

While i dig NV i never fully commited to it either. I do remember Veronica was a good gal to have around.

I cant vouch for Gears since i havent played any of them but Blade is definitely worth it, you can jump into any entry as they are not direct sequels. Besides emulation, the best way to play the entire lineup is on the switch so if you got a hacked one or something, give it a go.
