no shill, because as i've been saying since the Njudean 2000 series came out, memetracing is an abomination designed to monopolize Njudeas place in the market, and it should not exist in that format. It was never a 'good' thing for gamers, and never intended to be.
Lighting engines should always have been left to the game engine coders and designers. Not a single gpu manufacturer trying to corner the market with a faux-innovative product. If UE+Unity+frostbite had introduced memetracing, sure, then you can dedicate die-space to it. But they didn't, memetracing has subtly nerfed every gpu released in the last 8 years, as die-space that COULD have been dedicated to rasterisation has been partly sacrificed for memetracing cores, not to mention the waste of R&D. And a reminder that it hasn't resulted in overall better looking games, outside of natural progression of graphical fidelity, which is independent of lighting engines.
What amazes me, is how easily you goys and shills are manipulated by such low-brow marketing. As i grew up, i naturally developed a degree of immunity and contempt for such forms of marketing, strange that you retards fall for it soo easily, and repeatedly. ive never felt like i have had an inferior experience. I dont know anyone with a 90 series card regardless. They cost 7 grand now, its an insult.
The inferior experience is being an exploited and abused customer wildly overpaying for a tech company that has been a blight upon pc gaming for well over a decade+ now. The shame i'd feel everytime i turned on my pc, knowing my poor decisions have actively hurt pc gaming, would ruin whatever perceived performance gains you pretend upscaling provides.
I dont use or like memetracing. Its a shit gimmick for cutting corners and upselling cards, the best lighting engine i've seen, for actual gameplay, and not standing still staring down a street, is Helldivers 2, which doesnt use memetracing at all. I dont like input lag so fake frames are not an option for me, my 7900xtx runs great, most games on high to max settings on my 1440p ultrawide, kino gaming experience, none of the guilt either.
