All of these flood myths are historical memory of the local population of a comet impact event 10,000 years ago. After a comet hit the ice sheets in North America during the Ice Age, mass die offs of megafauna and catastrophic flooding happened. These flood myths are a retelling of that by the local population AND of antediluvian peoples who survived it.
