Since 30k space marines translate rather easily to 40k, I'm wondering how well does the auxilia translates to playing 40k using the guard codex?

>velatris guys with volkites and can count-as plasma gunners in regular squads, axe guys can probably be passed off as sergeants
>heavy flamer can be used just as a flamer but the rotor cannon guys are probably out tho?
>no heavy weapon squads or cavalry for the auxilia might be a problem in 40k
>alternatively you could use them as scions with rotor cannons being used for volley guns?
