Last time I went to America I had chills. Your people are stressed, empoverished, angry, increasingly cynical (americans are not usually cynical people, they tend to demand sincerity and fairness from the world and are still shocked the lot of humanity is evil), and ever more antissocial. It'd take a little to drive them over the edge. And I do not judge them. If your cost of living is rising, your jobs are being lost to indians and mexicans, your salary is stagnant, and you have no good entertainment or social relations to distract you from all of the suffering that is life, you increasingly grow antissocial and stressed. The fact people watch their elected authorities act exactly like the political opposition that they rejected in the ballot also leads them to disbelieve that there is a civil, polite solution to their own problems.
Now, I'd recommend for americans to begin attempting to subvert this stored anger and frustration. The suffering is only growing, and soon it will be directed at someone or something. The right-wing americans were bribed with a Trump presidency after their dangerous stunt in Jan 6th, but that only makes them feel more betrayed. Meanwhile the Left-wing americans are already furious over the US-sponsored Gaza genocide (rightfully) and over deportations.
You need to drive people over the edge, not wish them to return to their 2000s and 1990s selves. You need to feed their anger and desperation. They are close to the breaking point and once their ego is shattered, the response
A god of wrath breathes upon this world.

>has the USA lost the mandate of heaven
Yes.
>when did it happen
Probably in 2003, when the USA performed an unprovocked invasion of a sovereign country over a false claim that they had nuclear weapons. Then one million people died, then a lot more suffered due to the political strife that destabilized the whole region.
>Or in 1993's Waco siege
When the ATF and FBI surrounded a church and terrorized them for 90 days until they decided to set it on fire and kill the people inside in a borderline demonic sacrifice, then the USA proceeded to acquit all those responsible for the Waco massacre.
I can see both situations being the prime example of what leads a nation to lose "heaven's mandate". The classic example is the Han dynasty self-absorbed in palace conspiracies while they country starved and suffered through a pest, then brutally crushed the peasants with warlord armies when they tried to help themselves.
Those same warlords then went on to game the political sphere of China, resulting in the three kingdoms crisis.

And this is not the end. When the Emperor loses the mandate, a new dynasty must rise from whatever origin that restores the Tao. I predict great violence for America (which now considers normal for an US presidential candidate to have three attempts on his life, as well as a major city and state in rebellion) and the West.
America is the perfect place for this to begin because americans have an unbelievable amount of guns in civilian possession. A rebellion in Canada or Europe would be like the 1848 crushed revolutions. In the USA, it would actually succeed.
Whatever happens, failed or not, will happen, however. I do not see any angle throughout which nothing will happen. People are being driven to the edge, there is far too much wrath, and all it takes is a powderkeg.
We are looking into a dark, violent future. Violence of the weak against the strong will show itself once again as a tool of political change.

Dangerously based.
It used to be that you people knew that the dignity of the people is not to be taken for granted, but that the tree of liberty had to be washed with blood from time to time else the nation dies.
