I'm just explaining the discrepancy. Overall I'd agree with that though. I like Mikanko but there's no way it's the second best deck like Untapped claims.
Sometimes the MD official data can be wonky though like how Purrely had a bunch of the highest winrate cards right before Fiendsmith released. I assume it has to do with only players who are really good at a deck like that playing it at high ranks while a ton of mediocre players will get carried by their deck to that rank.
If you actually want a good idea of the meta you should be looking at a lot of different data sources as well as using your own judgement. Or you can just post a MDM tier list and make people seethe. That works well too.
