It is. That's why our fight is far from over. The christian god is dying, but on his final breaths, it's still kicking and fighting for survival in an increasingly atheist irreligious world.
Churches are still a prevalent force of culture and the greatest sources of prejudice. They still hold some power, some influence
But it's nothing compared to the power they once had. This was our fate when church had full power.
Now all they can do is infect the mind of the young, and shame and guilt trip them into a life of repression, like they still do everyday.
