I have come to the conclusion that Madoka as a character is impossible to analyze by the western side.
Long time ago when i was searching info about japanese culture i came across with concepts like "karoshi" and mangakas dying from overwork.
Giving your life for others is controversial here, but actually is something that must be done sometimes and is not bad if it's for collective well being. Madoka didn't nothing wrong.
