Yes, but I also think that fear is what keeps me from becoming evil.

Of course, becoming comfortable in that knowledge of the fear is a trap that leads to justifying evil because "I couldn't, I'm too afraid of becoming evil." And that's why we remain ever-vigilant.

That said, no one is perfect. We can only hope to become better than who we were. Improvement upon our own failings, becoming more compassionate, kind, and helpful to others.
