remember when the biggest scandal was someone deleting emails off a server. and that was a big deal for like, a few weeks, instead of it coming and going in less than 24 hours.

ca-can we go back to when that was the biggest concern. some emails.

used to have dreams i was sleeping the wrong way on my arm, and if i tried to get up id be somehow angling it wrong and feel it dislocating/pulling the arm out of the shoulder. id get stuck in bed for hours, trying to twist in turn, constantly almost feeling it pull out of the socket, before finally waking up for real, finally getting up. fucking hell it was weird. not the worst, tho. also for a while had nearly the same thing with my kneecaps. id wake up, feel my kneecap moving and grab it, and have to hold it in place, and id feel the cap spinning clockwise or anti-clockwise under the flesh, and i couldnt bend my knee because it wasnt the "right direction" so id be trapped as well, desperately trying to hold and move and jiggle my kneecap under the flesh back to where it was "supposed to be", teetering on the edge of it just slipping right out and feeling it shoot under or into the muscle mass around it. fucking strangest internal feelings and sensations, id feel like i was there struggling non-stop for 10-20 minutes, sometimes hours. then id finally just wake up for real, reach for my knee and stop when i realized it was fine. then the lamest routine one is something i think i got from the fucking pirates of the carribian movie series. weird ass dreams of a black spot appearing on my thumb, or wrist, or palm, like a huge, massive flat pimple but black gunk inside. just always there in any dream i was having.

i had a pretty fuckin rocky relationship with sleep growing up. anyone else get the sudden falling to your death, jolt out of fucking bed ones as well?

what is it. im not racist (i think), i just generally feel uncomfortable around people of darker skin (and any other skin color besides my own. im a very slightly darker shade of regular white american, some sort of byproduct of my swedish/french heritage somehow). im afraid ill do or say something thatll be considered racist somehow? i get really paranoid with my language, ill stop using the word "you" as much because im afraid ill say something like "ah, yeah, lawrys, popular amongst your kind" and them responding badly. ill see an asian group purchase panko flakes and go "ah, some panko chicken, huh, from the people who do it the best" and thats okay? its the same thing with women. your probably just like me, have the same thoughts, feelings, as me. you smell dog shit, your eyebrows furrow, you look around confused and disgusted, and say "is that dogshit?". we both would act appropriately in the presence of dogshit? but then say, the topic of "who opens the door for who in a public, social setting" where logic seems to just go outta the fuckin window

so, basically, im crossing the street when i see a black person walking towards me? but its not because im worried about them being black. im worried that ill make a fool of myself somehow? what the absolute fuck. how did i get here. its so fucking absurd.
