Void Rivals does this really well by making a race that's human like interact with them, and it's how they have Springer and Hot Rod in particular treat them that I feel should be a default. Humans and human-like races are extremely tiny alien life forms to them.

I think it depends on how it's animated. Gore focused adult cartoons make it to mainstream because they're "mature" for having boobs and lots of violence. Skybound, despite its violence, is still teetering on PG-13. They would have to tip things all the way into R if they want a shot.
I think, even with its pacing, Netflix had a shot if it wasn't a PG series. The blood was minimal, the swearing was minimal, and the sex was uneeded but just seeing Elita make a move, or Megatron make a move (on either) would have shot its popularity up.

Oversaturation of Skystar in the fandom is genuinely what got me to hate it despite not actually disliking it. I thought the G1 episode was really great. Starscream's voice is rarely ever level and it was one of the three times where he spoke 'normally' and it was so refreshing.
But that's it.
When I want to look at fanart of one, they always come with the other.
MegOp in every universe doesn't bother me, but I think they should do as they did in Animated and re-do the dynamic. Megatron didn't give a single shit about OP to the point where he couldn't be bothered to know his name. He had no obsession, he just wanted to kill him and move on with his life. That was fun. Friends to Enemies isn't bad, but I want more cases like Earthspark where they moved on together.
An ending where they both live, and actually rebuild is something I don't think that's ever been touched on. It's always on Earth, and colonization of Earth based territory. I'd love to see them both go back home, and even if it's a novel like Aligned, it'd be great to have a Hasbro approved psuedo-canon. And while Netflix had the building blocks to make it happen, it didn't. And I genuinely wish it did
