>WW3 was so traumatic and destructive, that everyone left was just sick of it.
This isn't true. WW3 was almost a nothingburger compared to what it could have been, and there were still people like Colonel Green afterward.
It was a long period of social development before post WW3 humanity turned into TNG humanity.

All ethics are inevitably based on fundamental assumptions, and all decisions are ultimately guided by ethics. Either you make an assumption that the soul exists and work from there, or you make other assumptions instead.
It's worth noting that Pope Francis was a very stout human-centrist who actively advocated that human beings are unique amongst the creatures of creation and to let such a perspective be buried will eventually cause catastrophic harm to ourselves. Contrast this against the multitudes of
>trust the science, there's no side-effects!
>men can cut off their dicks and become women
>how dare you, the discoverer of DNA, mention that genetics can cause racial differences in intelligence?
and their incessant belief that human consciousness has no more value than that of animals (and recently argued PLANTS), and you can see there's some important consequences to which assumptions you make.
>but it's illogical!
Read some fucking Kant. All assumptions are illogical until logic is applied to them to reach viable conclusions.

Why didn't he just win, along with Quaritch from Avatar and Stryker from X-Men? What is the point of making media where humanity loses when it's human beings watching it? And is there a secret trove of shot-on-film movies about humans unapologetically and violently subjugating everything and everyone with no remorse nor hesitation, hidden away from us because such media would make us too strong?
