Everyone in this movie was so fucking idiotic. First you have Superman not using his x-ray or super hearing to see Lex was up to no good
Then you have Daily Planet not wondering where the Hammer went off to. They just let him beat up Superman and fuck off back to Russia or wherever and he never comes back and no one questions it.
Then Lex is there just letting Tessmacher record all his shenanigans and cuck him with Superman's Pal
Then the city of Metropolis just believes with no evidence that a tape made by Lex Luthor and unnamed translators with a language nobody spoke (not even the intergalatic space cop) was evidence that Superman is evil. At least for ten minutes before they just... forget?
Like someone said Lex's girlfriends just kept disappearing and nobody investigated it.
By the way a monster just... appears in the middle of the city. TWICE and no one investigated. I guess this world is the same as EVA's.
The city/planet was almost sucked in a black whole and a war was breaking out in the middle east but the biggest news that day was Lex Luthor was selling weapons to the "bad guys". Why are they bad? Because they were taking over a country who didn't have any firearms. Ooh here's a great idea! Lets have one of the Justice League kill the leader of another country! Da da da-daaa! The day is saved!
Aside from being a shit Superman this movie was just shit. So when I see all these plot wholes I just don't understand if I'M in the wrong or if there really is a plot to make this movie look better than it is.
