I want to say the meta shift for season 3 is not as clear as it was for the previous seasons. I feel like they are empowering brawl/dive tanks as they are increasing their lockdown potential (Hulk via teamups with buffed characters, Thing, Venom ect). For dps they are rewarding more consistency (Landing shots with Namor/Bucky, combos with Spidey or sticking to people as Wolverine). Healers in general feel somewhat the same minus Loki getting his ult slower. As for the team-up changes they all focus on making it easier to land final blows for using them and actually incentivizing good team comps more than the downside of having them (For example, squirrel is better with an ironman rather than a spiderman in terms of team composition without the team-up.)

That being said the differences between 2.5 and 3 feel like they are pushing for more team play and team comp centered gameplay rather than solo carries. Flexing seems real beneficial.
