I dunno. I'm in Norway right now visiting my wife's parents and their idea of good pork is pretty fucking nasty. American mid-south at least has incredible pork ribs and knows how to roast/grill/bbq a pig.
But at the end of the day beef is objectively superior to pork. So is horse and bison. Pork just isn't that good unless it is heavily cured or smoked and that is true of anything, even the worst meat on planet earth - yard bird.
