Has anyone used sonic bombs on Lagiacrus when he's underwater?

Regarding underwater combat, one of the areas that would improve the experience overall if they brought back underwater weapon movesets, is to make sure the arenas are always small and to have complex terrain. Having massive spaces of emptiness does have a huge impact on the flow of underwater fights. I still think underwater combat is inferior to land combat, but providing it's seldom used, and the arenas are designed how I just mentioned, they might turn out to be someone satisfying to do on repeat playthroughs.
