You can set filters so that when you absorb or obtain Echoes, they will automatically mark themselves for Discard. So like for example with Flaming Clawprint, you only want to keep anything with CRIT Rate, Crit DMG, Atk%, or Fusion DMG as main stats. Everything else gets automatically marked to be discarded.
