Terrific is like Steel. Kind of a lot like Steel come to think of it. But anyways the point is that he's just dude trying to do right and live up to the people who inspired him. He works well on a team and lets his actions speak louder than words. Iron Heart is a petulant brat looking for head pats who caused a stink before she ever picked up the mantle.

For as much as people want to point to Death as some stunt event (which is honestly more than a bit fair) they never really spend time with with the follow up which is really what made that event actually worth while. They actually explored the effects his death had on the world and the people around him. The issue with Pa Kent having the heart attack and vision was fantastic. More to pint, it's one of the best examples of how to get a bunch of new legacies over fast.
