If an object gets turned into a darkner and then a ghost possesses it in the Light World, then goes into a Dark World, what happens?

Tenna is actually perfect with Mettaton because Tenna just wants someone that watches him all day and Mettaton is a shut-in that has nothing better to do but watch TV all day.
