If the game would let me save formations and manoeuvres I would not care but having to organise mid battle is fucking stupid. In real life an organised formation would be practised and drilled. You cannot execute anything like that without pausing.

My brother in law is a massive mtg fan, every second Saturday he plays in person in the lhs and spends almost all his free time playing it on his phone.
My missus and I hosted over the Easter weekend and they were still here till monday arvo when everyone else had left. I was painting my krieg and greenskin kill teams and he was checking out the paraphernalia sitting in my office with me and would not stfu about how 'dark' and 'boring' 40k is.
He insisted 40k could 'grow' and get more popular by having hello kitty marines and constantly tried to show me cuddly animal magic card artwork. He would not stfu about how final fantasy cards were coming out etc. I got the shits and told him, once again people have painted their own models all kinds of ways and that is perfectly fine and even lore friendly as long as you structured your 'faction' by the custom faction TT rules for gameplay reasons.
Was not good enough. He wants official art and lore to turn into teletubbies like mtg otherwise its "just not very appealing". I told him to look up GW's earnings report and he still shrugged his shoulders and doubled down on his bullshit. Literally the type of retard AoS was supposed to pull in, and failed.

>Finally grab Mazda through confed - all my generic slaan and skinks lords have the buff
>Same turn go to put down his measly army again before he can run away so Mazda can swoop down and get it
>Accidently hit loot and settle instead of sack
>Its at the end of a turn after 4 massive manual battles and about 20 construction projects started, 5 huge troops movements and a good 10 minutes sorting all my agents as a fair bit of diplomacy.
I am not reloading the save but I am eternally pissed Mazda does not have the 20% CDR and cant get it now...I am almost tempted to drop the campaign.
