Unfortunately, she ran into yet more danger. Her path crossed into a main road, revealing a trail of destruction carving its way through the city center. Cars pushed aside and partially crushed, a portion of the road fractured and splintered as though something immense had been dragged along. She paused for just a second to catch her breath, and then realized something.
The trail was leading directly towards the nearby shopping mall. The one her little sister always managed to drag her friends too after a sleepover, be it for shopping, a movie, or just to hang out and chat in the food court. Kid things. The mall her sister was supposed to be at right now, the one Howard was supposed to be picking her up from. Fuck.
Angelica turned and ran. She really didn’t want whatever was chasing her to hurt her siblings, but she also needed to know they were safe. And maybe, if she was lucky, it would go back to lurking if she found a big enough crowd.

Angelica chased. The fetch was slippery, and could sense her. Most of her daggers were missing by inches, the thing jerking out of the way at the last possible second. It was actually infuriating. Angelica only had so much time to deal with it, to get her life back, before the rest of her family noticed. Dad was out of town on one of his business trips. Howard was doing something at the mall. Ellen was having a sleepover, being childish. Maria was at school, being ridiculous. Mother was at home.
Her window of opportunity was small, and she didn’t want to miss it. That’s why she’d ambushed the fetch and immediately jumped to lethality, but - well, it wasn’t working very well. Angelica wasn’t actually a very good runner. Her clawed feet were better for jumping than running, and better at gripping than actually providing stability. The fetch might actually be faster than her, but Angelica could at least jump good, gliding short distances after it.

I have no idea. I haven't actually written much of anything about their character as of yet. Evelyn is loosely based on The Mummy, because why not, but Nicolas is a big ? to me.
>Dragonblood/Demon
Jade was young and impulsive and Gregory was a solider before he was a pastor. He looked impressive enough, good genes and all that. Unfortunately the Dragonblood families are very controlling, and their son never exalted, so they have a very rocky relationship wherein the two men are outright a mistake that Jade made and can't get rid of. Very asian mom, wherein her son is a disappointment. Gregory is far more chill by comparison, and married another woman (splat undecided) so that his son would have a semi-stable motherly figure.
>Hunter/Genius
One of the big things for Geniuses is funding, and at that time, she had none. Anyways, they bumped into each other while he was on a mission and she kind of followed him, leading to her getting some fascinating data on various things, so she stuck around. This transitioned to dates and eventually getting married. He is technically a salesman for a gun company who travels around to promote the guns (shoot vampires), and she spies on him for scientific data which she has a tidy side hustle of selling off to other Geniuses when she isn't looking after their kids.

If you recognize the name of the snake you should already know what's up, but the kid is the reincarnation of The King Of Uncloaked Steel from Keychain after accidentally purifying himself into a Solar. So the snake is his formerly-a-lunar-currently-trapped-in-a-sword wife from two reincarnations ago. Minimum. Rachel is my player character from VtMb, and is a Malkavian. Vanessa lacks any real detail to her life beyond having a rivalry with Rachel, which gets shown of in the first part of my Xvs writing. The two girls kind of get dragged into a pseudo justice league thing by him after he exalts fighting Clulvnarihe.
