Depending on the show and it's length that'd be pretty pricey to do with uncertain return on investment. As other anons have said, fan efforts are good and probably better than what you'd get officially anyway. That being said there is one TV anime I can name that has received an official 4k scan, albeit it was only used as a base for a normal bluray release: Cardcaptor Sakura

Sakura is many things, really her only major deficit is in her obliviousness. She is easily top 10 female protagonists.
