There is no know distinction between deaths of looters and drowning. 6 died at the Superdome and it was considered a dark tragedy. I have no idea how many they killed, I know a lot got wounded at distance and ran off with #1 shot and 38 slugs embedded in them. There are even some interviews with the hunters admitting to it. If 100 or so were killed it would amount to one of the greatest mass shootings of our time and no one even talks about it. All these dead left to rot for weeks and piled with other bodies with no where to put them. At one point death toll was 1800, no idea what truth is but some quantity of this number were gunned down well after the storm passed. For reference our professional soldier military fired on average 250000 bullets to achieve a single casualty in Iraq and Afghanistan. If there were deaths in the dozens it'd still be a feat of violence in modern American history.

She's completely correct, in fact her naivete and lack of knowledge of economics allows her to bypass the typical gobbledygook that shrouds the minds of more educated people when confronted with these issues. At this rate more than half of all the money in existence is just made up bogus currency created by banks during the process of loan issuing. The value of currency is completely arbitrary and the economics and general process of human labor is supported not by tangible benefits and positive outcomes based on tokens of currency they would hold that are representations of valuable wealth they would have otherwise possessed like minerals or other resources, but a heavily indoctrinated belief since early childhood that is funded and espoused by the state, with the same bogus money, that if you work "hard enough", "good things will come to you". It has been two decades now with working hard and no good things happening, so this is starting to crack. There's only so long people will keep listening and believing for.
