Why are "10/10" soundtracks meaningless these days?

I've played so many new games that I was told have 10/10 soundtracks and not one was above 7/10, people seemingly give out 10/10 soundtrack scores to any game they remotely liked

I fucking despise "shitty on purpose" indie games

The trend needs to die once and for all
