It's a reality check. Your whole body NEEDS that vacation because your job is sucking the life out of you. If you have a chill fulfilling job, vacation is just a fun extra, not a necessity. It's the carrot on the stick of capitalism, promise them weekend to get through the week, promise vacation to get through the year, promise retirement to get through life.
It's time for you to live of gibs for a while and figure out what you really want before you become an empty shell full of regrets.
